When is the best time to engage an Interior Designer?
The earlier the better! It won’t cost you more to engage us early in your planning process, it will only further ensure all decisions are thought through and the design is reflective of your unique needs. Start by booking a discovery call.

Can you describe your design process?
Working together with our client we will form a ‘brief’ to give the project direction and boundaries, so that we can select the right products for the job.
The ‘Concept’ ideas and options for the design solution are visually presented along with samples.
The outcome of this meeting then follows onto the ‘Development’ design stage which is a two-way conversation between the Designer and the Client. Openly communicating ideas ensures the design is reflective of the brief and is unique to the client involved. Quotations are typically provided at this stage of the project.
Within the final ‘Detail’ design stage, Swift Designs provides the information needed for a detailed room by room scheme that can be used by the sub-trades and building professionals. This information is critical to getting the job done right.
Do you supply curtains, wallpapers and furniture?
Yes! We provide consultation services to select, supply and install all window treatments and wallpaper. We can also supply furniture & accessories to fit your needs, including custom designs. Please get in touch to arrange for a Designer to visit and discuss your needs.
Will Swift Designs use a style that I don't like?
NO! Our specialty is to develop an understanding your style and incorporate this into your interior scheme. The Design will ensure that the products selected are suited to the purpose, environment and desired style. We won’t make those decisions for you; we will guide you with valuable advice and provide you with gorgeous products.
Can I get a discount on products through Swift Designs?
We are able to offer discounts on many products which offsets our consulting charges. Swift Designs offer free quotes with your consulting package for all window furnishings, cushions, wallpaper, furniture and interior joinery. Clients benefit from our membership to the Independent Design Collective, a small sample of our suppliers can be seen on their website Independent Design Collective | Designers Working Together | New Zealand, and include flooring, plumbing, paint, wall finishes/plastering, fabric houses and tile suppliers. In addition, we have direct trade relationships with furniture importers, enabling us to offer better pricing and a larger selection than you will find in most retail stores.
