A home to be proud of was the brief that drove the design decisions for this 4 bedroom, 5 bathroom home in Merviale, Christchurch. The home owners wanted warmth and comfort with a modern twist throughout their home and engaged Swift Designs to specify, supply and install of all the interior furnishings, colours, materials and furniture.
They were not afraid to use colour and texture to bring their brief to life, balancing the requirement for longevity in the design aesthetic and the needs of every family member and guests that would visit.
Selections included paint colours from Dulux, Textiles from Harlequin, James Dunlop, Textilia, Basford Brands & Warwick. Furniture & soft furnishings designed & made locally. Tile selections from Europica Tiles & Reptiles. Kitchen and Living room joinery supplied by Bates Joinery. The building & project management was overseen by Home Trend Builders.

We recently used Treena Swift from Swift Designs to design our new Ensuite bathroom. We found she had a great knowledge of what could and couldn’t be done in the space we had. Her knowledge of products and trends gave us ideas that we would not have ever considered. She was quick to formulate designs and get back to us. She listened to the ideas we had and suggested further ones and made us feel like we co-contributed to the project.
I went on a shopping trip to purchase products with Treena and found going with her was a great to help with decision making. She had a good list of useful contacts in the showrooms and managed to assist us to purchase at better prices than we could have managed by our selves. I would without reservation, refer friends and family to Swift Designs and would love to work with Treena again myself in the future.
